11 Days to go...  [18/3/2004 15:57:02]

My how 6 months flies when your working your butt off.

Let me summarise:

Sep 1999 - May 2000: Customer Service Advisor
May 2000 - Jul 2003: Resource Analyst/Snr Resource Analyst
(ANC Rental Corporation - Redundancy due to relocation)
Jul 2003 - Sep 2003: Unemployed
Sep 2003 - Sep 2003: Business Analyst (Edexcel)
Sep 2003 - Mar 2004: Resource Analyst on 6 month contract to start up WFM.
Mar 2004 - ???

So as yet no contract on my desk to sign and no job to go to I wait with eagerness and some hope.

Eagerness and hope....for what?  [18/3/2004 18:22:11]

Are you hoping you get another contract, another job, or are you hoping to take a 'vacation' again?

Take Care,
Marianne

P.S. 86 days to go for me... but that's to my baby's due date. So it's a little bit happier of a countdown.

86 days to go  [19/3/2004 10:42:41]

Marianne is this your first, if so then it is 86 days of freedom to come and go as you please, not spend everyday worrying how your little treasure is doing, is he/she developing at the right rate, whats that blemish, will that cut get infected, is she/he being bullied at school, will they do ok at school, what will the world be like when they are older, will I cope with all this responsibility, will I be a good parent.

Two is enough for me and I get out to work for a rest.

Then they smile and everything is ok again (for five minutes)

-1 Days to Go...  [30/3/2004 13:59:54]

I'd like to make it sound really exciting, but I can't think of any way of doing it, I even tried to find a clause in the contract that meant I could have the afternoon off, but NO!

So in the end the contract turned up and they continue my length of service so alls relatively well.

Get to watch the planes fly over me and past me all day for the forseeable future.
