Trade Magzines - what do you read ?  [26/8/2003 16:04:46]

Which Trade Magazine do you read (e-skills will be undertaking a significant amount of press activity over the next few months)?

Can you also tell them what do you like about certain magazines ?

Personnally I read CCF.

What I like most is that the articles are of a sufficient length that I can rip out a page, take it with me.... and by the time I've finished my coffee I've also finished the article!

What more could you want?

Anyone else?  [20/1/2005 09:37:58]

I am curious to see what journals and the like people actually read (as oppose to receive and put in the bin) to assess where we might at some point place an advertisement for CallCentreVoice.

All comments welcome.

What do you TRY to read?  [20/1/2005 09:54:11]

CCF and Call Center Europe.

However they both seem to be very hit or miss
on the distribution.

I find contactcenterworld.com useful for keeping upto date with things.

The competition...  [20/1/2005 14:45:35]

Boo, hiss ;-)

Actually, I'm kidding. In fact, I'd like to work more closely with the other publications (both on- and off-line) as I think it could benefit everyone. However, I've always suspected that CCF see us as a threat for some bizarre reason - perhaps because our forum is miles better than theirs... ;)

Competition or Complimentary  [20/1/2005 14:52:29]

John,

CCV provides a very good arena for the industry to discuss real issues.

I am of the opinion that 'readers' view multiple sources of information - but - actually participate in very few - that is where CCV succeeds against other call centre sites.

Trade Magazines  [23/1/2005 19:16:34]

Hi, first post since discovering this excellent forum. Only magazine i read at the moment is CCF but thats because i'm new to this business. I've only read the last couple of issues but in all honesty i've found out more about improving the dialler performance and managing the staff / ACD queues by reading some of the excellent topics in these forums on CCV. ( you guys must be doing something right to get me to put my hand in my pocket to subscribe within a couple of hours of finding you !!!) Keep up the good work.
