Okay, I don't even know where to begin to find the answer to this, but I'm going to loose sleep over it otherwise.
I'm a new employee at ICT Group, and every other week, on Friday (our workweek ends on Friday), we have to go into the computer to "approve" our hours. All I know about this is that it has something to do with payroll.
But today went by, and I completely forgot to do it until I was already home and the centre is closed. I'm so worried that I might loose a week's pay over this. On one hand, I'm telling myself that they wouldn't do that, since it's the payroll's department to make sure I get paid for my hours worked, and I've always clocked in and out on time. But then I worry that maybe they're just giving us enough rope to hang ourselves, and if we forget, it's too bad, so sad.
I'm probably worrying for nothing, and I'll probably be able to fix things with payroll when I go in tomorow, if there is a problem. But... Well, I guess I'm having a paranoid moment, and it would be wonderfull if someone who's been working at ICT longer could figure out my jumbled mess of a post and let me know what's going to happen. |
